Hope isn’t just a feeling—it’s something you can see, hear, taste, touch, and name on the page. In this poetry workshop for teen writers, we’ll explore how hope shows up in everyday moments: the smell of rain after a dry spell, a song that won’t let you give up, a quiet place that feels safe. Students will read short, accessible poems, experiment with vivid sensory details, and write their own pieces that turn small observations into powerful lines. This class is welcoming, low-pressure, and designed to help teens find their voice while discovering how poetry can hold light—even when things feel uncertain.
