About the Author

Shelly Nosbisch writes the Tegan Reese Mysteries, cozy mysteries set in Nebraska’s scenic—but secretive—Mallet State Park. In the series, park ranger Tegan Reese patrols quiet trails, protects the land she loves, and has an unfortunate habit of uncovering dangerous secrets that someone would rather keep buried.

A Nebraska-based writer and teaching artist with the Nebraska Writers Collective, Shelly helps young writers find their voice. She also writes emotionally edgy young adult fiction exploring complicated relationships, bad decisions, and the messy truths people try to hide.

When she’s not plotting fictional crimes in the Midwest, Shelly can usually be found at trivia night or lurking in the local library stacks trying not to bankrupt herself with books.
